In 1925, two brothers and great tea lovers, Robert and Pierre Dammann, created the commercial enterprise known as Dammann Freres. Their know- how and the quality of their teas made of them the official
supplier of the Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (the celebrated and prestigious French Line). You will also find our fruit infusions (“ la Fontaine aux Fruits”) as well as our herbal teas (“L’Herboristeried’Orgeval”).
Dammann Frères created the Cristal tea bag in order to preserve the tea leaf. Slight and transparent, the Cristal tea bag combines all the taste and esthetic pleasures of the tea leaf with the practical aspect of the tea bag.
