You can select a longer brew cycle by pushing the 'Aroma Button', which will achieve a full-bodied flavor by advancing through several continuous cycles while water is released into the filter basket in 30-second intervals. Brew Tip: The filter basket holds up to 10 scoops (scoop included) of coffee grounds, which roughly translates to 10 cups of coffee. Since the carafe can hold up to 12 cups of coffee, you can make stronger coffee by removing the permanent filter basket and then using a standard paper filter, which will hold more coffee grounds.
