Pros
- Auto-Fill Boiler - Brass boiler refills itself so you don't have to worry about accidentally burning out the boiler. And with it's built in electronic thermostat no temperature surfing is required like on the Rancilio Silvia that has a mechanical thermostat.
- Grounds or Pods - Flexible brew options allow for both ground coffee or ESE pods
- Easy to Use - Push button controls, lighting and sounds cue you when the machine is ready to brew or steam

Cons
- Steam Wand Angle - The machine has great steam power and good results, but the angle of the wand is a little hard to get used to
- Low Brew Head - Figuring out proper dosages is kind of tricky and you have to use less than you think
- Plastic Casing - It's sturdy, but it's still plastic
- Flimsy Plastic Spouts - Customers have given us a heads up that under tamping pressure the plastic spouts on the portafilter crack easily, so we recommend users to tamp on the edge of the counter or to use a tamp stand like the ones from Cafelat or Rocket

How it Works
The X7's push button interface is very easy to use. Once it's turned on, the cup light will engage to indicate that it is warming up and, as soon as it's ready, the center button will light blue and a chiming noise will sound. To switch to steam, you simply press the button on the right and wait for it to reach steam temperature, also signified by the center button turning blue and the sound chiming.

Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:
- Descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
- Clean the brew gasket with a cleaning brush daily
- Soap out water tank and drip tray every few days
