A true standout in the category of home semi-automatic espresso
machines, the Gaggia Espresso Dose features a stainless steel boiler to
provide superior brewing and steaming capabilities. It also features as
well a dosage button that allows the user to set their preferred dosage
for one or two cups of espresso. Its small size means that it fits in
easily to different kitchens or workstations, and for the ultimate in
convenience it includes three different filter baskets for single shot,
double shot, or pod capabilities.
The Gaggia Espresso Dose uses
a Pannarello frothing device for easy frothing and steaming. Its
portafilter fits in to a heat retaining chrome-plated brass group head,
and the stainless steel cup warmer is heated with residual heat from
the boiler for a great shot from start to finish.

espresso, out performing most other home espresso machines in this
price range

How it Works
The grind, tamp pressure and extraction time all play vital roles in extracting great espresso from this semi-automatic machine. Use either programmed dosage or manually control the length of the extraction.

Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user
manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your
cleaning routine:
- Descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
- Soap out water tank and drip tray every few days
- Rinse portafilter and baskets after each use.
- Brush brew head gasket area weekly to remove any coffee build-up

- Commercial-Style Portafilter - When
you want to brew quality espresso, you want to use the best style of
portafilter you can. That’s why the Dose was designed with
a commercial-style portafilter, measuring 58mm and made of
chrome-plated brass. Brass offers temperature stability for your
espresso, a vital factor in the taste of your final shot. This style of
tamper requires a nice, firm tamp for ground espresso, but can also be
used with ESE pods for added convenience.
- Commercial Brew Group - With
a heavy duty, professional quality portafilter, you need a
commercial-style brew group to match. The brew group on the Dose
is also made of chrome-plated brass for added temperature stability.

- Simple Controls - Durable ABS plastic was used on the housing for this model, making it a cinch to shine up! The control panel is straightforward and intuitive.
- Cup Warmer - Espresso
