Water Capacity - The Pure is compact, and has a 42 oz. water reservoir to match. How it Works Fill the water tank to the maximum mark and prime machine per user manual. Place the 1 or 2 cup filter into the filter holder, fill with one or 2 level measures of coffee and press firmly with a tamper Place the filter handle on the machine and place a cup below the spouts Set the coffee selector to the brew position until the desired amount of espresso is extracted Set the coffee selector back to the standby position Steam milk by turning the selector to the steam position For more detail consult the Gaggia Pure user manual. We ordered this unit after doing much research March 26, 2009 Reviewer: Pamela W. from McCall, ID United States   We wanted a good Cappuccino at home and had some poor experiences in the past. But we also were unwilling to spend a whole lot on a home brewer. We really appreciated all the information on the Seattle Coffee Gear website. We looked at the "Compare and Review" section on entry level semi-automatic machines. Based on the reviews given, we selected the Gaggia Pure because of it's high score. We were not mislead. The cappuccino's we make at home are better than we can get at most local coffee shops, and we are very pleased. We get "crema" and great, thick foamy milk. We couldn't be happier with our machine. Great AND inexpensive February 9, 2009 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Caledonia, MN United States   This machine makes great espresso.  There is a bit of a learning curve to know it is at its best temperature (after first having foamed some milk into which I make a double-shot), but otherwise it fantastic.   Thank you for your feedback on this review.
