If you like the smooth flavor of coffee ice cream September 27, 2009 Reviewer: Anjaela M. from Spokane, WA United States   ...you will like cold brewed coffee- and if you like iced coffee in the summer, this will save you lots of money! There were a number of reasons I chose this product over other cold brewing 'machines' - I like the fact that you do not need to buy filters, the stainless steel filter will last indefinitely so I'll never go to make coffee and not have a filter on hand. Second, the plastic the coffee hourglass is made of is BPA free, I was shocked to think my regular coffee maker has hot water running through plastic parts- leaching BPA into every cup of coffee!! Third, the hourglass is very smart and stylish and looks nice on the counter. The design of the gadget is fantastic and is easy to use. I especially like the fact that when filling the "Bean Canteen", which was included with the hourglass, the quantity of coffee brewed fits perfectly so I can store it and keep it fresh in the refrigerator. It looks like a spaceship... September 27, 2009 Reviewer: Tina J. from Mount Vernon, WA United States   ...and brews cold coffee that's outta site. I wasn't sure how I would like this odd contraption, but after trying it for the first time, the delicious coffee speaks for itself. The instructions were clear and concise. It was very easy to use. I loved the coffee so much that I had three cups a day instead of my single cup a day. It's one of those cups of coffee that melts your problems away with the first sip. My daughter saw the hour glass coffee maker... September 24, 2009 Reviewer: Janice K. from Glendale, AZ United States   ...when she was looking online for a cold brew method of making coffee. She told me about it and I decided to try the hour glass maker as it seemed pretty easy to use. The coffee is really smooth and rich tasting without the bitterness. I use it all the time especially now with our summer heat of triple digits. It makes really great iced coffee and I have tried it hot and am very satisfied.
