This machine has two boilers with a PID controller and quiet rotary pump for near silent operation. The Alex Duetto can be either plumbed or used as a tank model and has a simple lever to switch between the two.

The Alex Duetto features a tried-and-true E 61 brewhead with a lever to actuate brewing. With the built in PID controller it is easy to perfect the brewing temperature and assure your shots are neither over-extracted or under-extracted.

Water tank 2.4 liter with low water sensor (cuts power to heater)

...and without a doubt the Alex Duetto is a ten. The dual boiler provides for greater control when frothing and pulling a shot. The gauges are helpful when frothing and pulling a shot. In addition being able to plumb in the machine or use the water reservoir gives you the greatest flexibility if you plan to move. A great value for the price!
