Jura Capresso Impressa S7 One Touch Automatic Coffee Center

Whether you like to serve after-dinner espresso at your weekly dinner parties (you social butterfly, you!) or have a serious crema habit, the large capacity Impressa S7 can deliver cup after cup without breaking a sweat. With 4 one-touch beverages and one manual override button, your drink is prepared how you want it, when you want it. Fully-automatic and ready to make your favorite espresso beverages, at a touch of one button the S7 grinds, tamps and brews from either your fresh espresso beans or pre-ground espresso from the bipass doser. It's superautomatic, so don't plan on using especially oily beans or the grinder could clog. Frothing is automatic as well. The S7 draws milk from an insulated stainless steel container and froths it directly into your eager cup! Use the rotary dial to access the programming and maintenance settings. Personalize your size (1-16 oz.), strength and temperature for each beverage, water or steam. You can almost forget decalcifying, as the Clearyl water filtration system nearly eliminates the need to run decalcifying cycles.

An easy-to-read LED guides you with graphics through all stages of the process. Automatic cleaning cycles and commercial-grade conical burr grinder round out the Jura Capresso Impressa S7.

Pros

One-Touch - One-Touch capability at lowest price point. Programmable One-Touch frothing and steaming settings
Programmability - For you Type A personalities out there, you are able to control temperature, strength and volume for all four unique beverage buttons
Capacity - The 96 oz. water reservoir takes the hassle out of entertaining your guests

Cons

Footprint - Along with the larger capacity comes a larger footprint
Pricey cleaning products - Jura brand cleaning and descaling tablets can add up. Consider an off-brand alternative
Keep it clean - Rinsing the One-Touch components must be done religiously unless you intend to make cheese instead of coffee!

How it Works

Fill the water tank to the maximum mark and prime machine per user manual.
Fill the bean hopper with beans.
Place a cup below the spouts
Push button for desired drink
Steam milk by turning the steam knob to steam.
Or, combine both brewing and steaming functions into one step using the One-Touch feature.

One-Touch Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato Buttons: With the One Touch Cappuccino button your coffee is ground, the chilled milk is siphoned, heated and frothed into your cup. The coffee is then brewed without ever moving your cup.

A La Carte Button: with the a la carte button and the rotary dial you can override the coffee strength and cup size just before brewing. The new technology with the rotary dial also allows you to adjust the strength of the coffee on all beverages buttons while it is grinding and to adjust the cup size during the brewing cycle.
