Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:
- If not using the built-in water filtration system, descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
- Clean the brew gasket with a cleaning brush daily
- Soap out water tank (if applicable) and drip tray every few days

- One-touch cappuccino and latte macchiato buttons: With the One-Touch Cappuccino button your coffee is ground, the chilled milk is siphoned, heated and frothed into your cup. The coffee is then brewed without ever moving your cup.
- Bright LED Display: Indicates key machine functions, including rinsing & cleaning.
- Huge Capacity: The 96oz water tank brews up to 60 espresso without refill.
- Energy Saving Mode: When the Energy saving mode is on, there is zero energy draw.
- Programming: Auto on/off, coffee strength, water and steam portions, brewing temperature and water volume. Five coffee strengths, three coffee temperatures, cup sizes from 1 to 16 oz. milk processing from 2 to 120 seconds.
- Commercial Solid Steel Conical Burr Grinder: Professional quality, sound insulated, with 6 fineness settings.
- Large variable brewing chamber: Automatically adjusts to hold between 5 and 16 grams of ground coffee. Coffee is always perfectly tamped.
- Clearyl Water Care System: Makes decalcifying virtually obsolete.
- Diverse Settings: The Impressa Z5 can be set to five different languages, displays cup size and time in European and American formats, keeps track of all activities and can be set to turn on and off automatically.
