I came from Italy 27 years ago... |

...I was born in Formia, a small little town on the coast between Rome and Naples. I remember as a little girl my mother would send me to the store called Torreificio, a coffee shop, to buy "Il Caffe". I loved that store and the aroma of the coffee was welcoming and sweet. Often I would stay longer watching how the store worker would ground the coffee that people came to buy. I would buy Lavazza, and I would smell the aroma of the fresh ground coffee all the way home!!! I grew up and came to Minneapolis, for years I looked all over for Italian coffee. Finally I found SCG on the Internet, I was so happy when I found out that they had Lavazza. Every time I open a new pack of Lavazza my FAVORITE, I can smell the fresh aroma of the ground coffee and sometimes that fresh aroma brings me back to Italy as a child to that coffee shop called Torreificio and I feel like I'm home again.
