Road warrior? Globe-trotting traveler? Can't hit the highway without some assurance that you'll enjoy the same great espresso without hitting the local big-box coffee shop? The MyPressi TWIST packs nitrous oxide cartridge-powered mechanisms in a portable espresso maker so that you have the brewing flexibility you need and get the flavor you cravee. Choose from the regular basket (using a regular espresso-fine grind), the pressurized basket (using a grind that is too coarse or is non consistent in particle size) or ESE pod baskets to produce your ideal shot. Because the TWIST uses pressurized gas to extract, it has excellent pressure regulation that results in relatively good espresso. The key to getting good results is making sure that all components are warmed up beforehand and - with enough diligence - you have the potential to pull a shot that will rival the Rancilio Silvia.

Pros
- Portable - Arguably the biggest reason you want to get this item, the TWIST produces delicious espresso on the go, using an innovative cartridge-based pressure system
- Metal Design - Since you don't have a big machine to back you up, consistent temperature is difficult to achieve with some portable espresso makers. This one incorporates a love of metal that you can effectively pre-heat to maintain even temperature throughout the extraction

Cons
- Heavy - Because of its relatively excellent temperature regulation, the heavy metallic components of the TWIST do make it a formidable opponent
- Cartridge Portability - We haven't been able to get firm confirmation that you can either check or carry on these cartridges if you're flying, but we have heard they're easy to source at specific locations. Be prepared to find your cartridges at your destination if you aren't roadtripping

How it Works
Utilizing a compressed gas cartridge (nitrous oxide) the TWIST extracts using either regular espresso grind, pods or a coarse/variable grind with a pressurized basket. Basket operation includes:
- Insert one N2O cartridge into the handle and seal shut
- Pre-heat all the components -- soak your chosen basket, fill the water reservoir and your glass(es) with boiling water
- Dry the basket and put in the coffee of your choice -- tamp if necessary
- If necessary, bring water to a hard boil again
- Empty all pre-heated components and twist reservoir into place
- Fill reservoir with hot water and seal lid
- Pull trigger in handle and watch your extraction begin!

Care
Clean the TWIST thoroughly after each use and make sure all the components are thoroughly dry before putting them back together.

The TWIST comes with an excellent selection of accessories, including:
- Pressurized Double Shot Basket: Pressurized basket can hold 14 - 21 grams and is for use with either coarser coffee or coffee that has a variable grind (inconsistent particle size).
- Standard Double Shot Basket: Regular double shot holds 14 - 21 grams of coffee and is for use with a more traditional, finer and even espresso-style ground coffee.
- ESE Pod/Single Basket: This basket holds either a standard ESE pod or 7 grams of traditional, finer and more even espresso-style ground coffee.
- 53mm Tamper: You'll need to tamp your coffee when using both the non-pressurized and pressurized baskets for ideal results.
- N2O Pressure Cartridges: Includes a starter set of (4) 8g nitrous oxide cartridges.
- Travel Pouch: Keep all your gear in an easy-to-transport, branded bag.
