in Saeco coffee machines. Thanks to its graphic display and icons, you

Designed by BMW DesignworksUSA, the new Talea line of super automatic espresso coffee machines features Saeco’s latest innovations including a ceramic grinder, SBS Saeco Brewing System and Touch Lift technology. Also includes the new Milk Island, an automatic milk frothing device that attaches to the base of the machine to create delicious cappuccinos and lattes with ease. Like all Saeco machines, the Talea line is fully programmable to ensure you brew the perfect gourmet coffee with the push of a button. The modern form and innovative function has earned the Talea machines the prestigious “red dot” award for design excellence.
 Saeco Brewing System - SBS for short
One twist. Infinite types of coffee. An absolutely revolutionary innovation. Saeco's new patented international exclusive: SBS (Saeco Brewing System) This ingenious system allows you to make an infinite variety of coffee beverages from just one fully automatic machine and at the mere twist of a knob. Whether it is an intense Italian ristretto (turn the knob to the right) or an American-style long coffee (turn the knob to the left) SBS satisfies all tastes, giving a full flavor and a truly unique creamy layer. In addition, the coffee dose in the extraction chamber is fully manipulated, thanks to the pressure, which remains constant throughout the extraction cycle. Through this process, all of the aroma is concentrated in the cup, offering you a superb crema finish and a truly rich flavor.
 Ceramic Grinder
The ceramic grinder is Saeco's most recent innovation, available in all new models of the Saeco range of superautomatic coffee machines. After careful research, Saeco finally chose this material to put an end to grinding with metal components. Ceramic is inert, and thus ensures the best results without altering the flavor of the coffee. The new ceramic grinder also provides a more consistent grind, allowing perfect dosing and blending, and giving you more control over the density and body of your coffee. It also helps cut down on the amount of coffee residue left in the cup. Thanks to its sturdy build, the ceramic coffee grinder will quietly grind to the same consistency and high standards for a longer period of time.
 Adjustable Drip Tray
The drip tray can be easily raised or lowered manually or electrically with a simple touch, allowing for different cup sizes. Espresso cups or glasses can easily be accommodated.
Saeco's Rapid Steam System
Rapid Steam® technology reduces the normal waiting time between coffee brewing and steam output to just a few seconds, so you can froth milk to make cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiato coffee at the simple turn of the steam knob.
 Milk Island (.8 liter included with purchase)
The Milk Island is a unique Saeco development for all Talea models. In
fact, it is the key function for all milk frothing connoisseurs.
Whether you prefer espresso macchiato, cappuccino, latte macchiato or
any other speciality, the preparation of creamy foam takes just a
matter of seconds. The Milk Island is available in two sizes .4 or .8 liters (.8 liter size included with purchase).
Pannarello Frother
The Pannarello frothing device dispenses steam in three different directions and makes it easy to froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes. It also dispenses hot water for making hot drinks and soups, and is completely removable for easy cleaning. The Talea Touch also works with theoptional Saeco Milk Island.
 Aqua Prima Water Filtration
The Aqua Prima water filter was developed to remove impurities from your water that alter the taste of your coffee. The AquaPrima water filter’s purpose is to improve the taste of your coffee while protecting your machine from limescale damage.
Built in Water Tank
The water reservoir can easily be refilled while it is still on the machine or by removing it with the easy-grip handle and filling it at the kitchen tap. The reservoir is made of clear ABS plastic so checking the water level is a breeze. 57.5 OZ Capacity
Internal Dump Box
Keeping pounds of beans fresh and ready for grinding is the built in, lidded coffee bean hopper. When the coffee grounds are spent, the machine delivers them to the internal dump box. It is easy to remove and clean.
