Description
Featuring a heated stainless steel brew group and a commercial-grade steaming wand, Quick Mill's Superautomatic espresso machine is the king of the superautomatic road! It brews a significantly better espresso shot than you'll find on other superautomatics with plastic brew groups and is a great fit for home, office and small cafe alike.

Pros & Cons
How it Works
Care
Features & Accessories
Tech Specs
Pros
Heated Stainless Steel Brew Group
- The all metal brew group is heated to assure the correct temperature to pull an excellent shot of espresso
Powerful Steaming Wand
- Steaming is dry and powerful through a long no burn steam arm
Commercial-Grade Design
- With its stainless casing and all metal brew group, the Quick Mill Superautomatic is built to last
Cons
Larger Size
- May be too large for some home countertops. See dimensions below for specific details
Takes Some Effort to Dial In the Shot
- Plan on wasting some coffee dialing in the grind initially. On the plus side, once dialed in, the shot quality is on par with a traditional espresso machine and is much superior to any other superautomatics under $3000 we have tested
Limited Programming
- Unlike its Saeco or Jura brethren in this price range, Quick Mill's Superautomatic doesn't give you robust programming functionality...something we're hopeful for in future versions of this model
How it Works
Turn the espresso machine on; brewing temperature will likely be reached in about 7-10 minutes
Place a cup or shot glasses under the spouts
When the panel says ready, select from a single shot or long shot
To dispense hot water, press the hot water button and hot water will be dispensed from the steaming wand
To steam milk through the wand press the steam button
To activate the automatic frother press the cappuccino button

Perform backflush routine, activated from the control panel
Keep the stainless steel casing shiny with a microfiber cloth
Features & Accessories
Heavy-Duty Housing
: Polished stainless steel body features a removable cup warmer.
Commercial-Grade Boiler System
: Brew and steam simultaneously with the 1.4 liter, copper heat exchange boiler.
Programmable Pre-Infusion
: Ability to pre-soak the coffee puck prior to brewing, greatly enhancing shot quality.
Programmable Temperature Setting for Heated Metal Brew Group
: Temperature is a key variable in producing an excellent shot of espresso.
Programmable Ground Coffee Dose
: This varies the amount of coffee that is ground to control the strength of coffee. When brewing, press the shot button once for a single shot and twice for a double shot. Easily program the coffee volume by pressing the coffee button until the word 'programming' appears in the display and then press it again once the desired amount of coffee is reached -- the volume is now stored.
Programmable 7-day Timer
: In addition to the seven day programmable timer, you can program the machine to turn off after a preset time of inactivity. This is an excellent feature in the event you go to work and forget to shut the machine off -- it will automatically shut off and can also be programmed to turn off after a preset amount of time. You choose the time in 30 minute increments from 30 minutes to several hours.
Support for Languages
: Five different languages to choose from, English, Italian, German, French and Spanish.
Maintenance
: Programmed descaling feature with setting for soft, medium and hard water. You simply put your descaling solution in the water tank and start the program. The machine will prompt you through the process and rinse. The Quick Mill Superautomatic also has a back flushing program built into the software. You simply put the back flushing detergent into the piston and press the start button. The program does the rest for you, including the pauses to allow the detergent to work and all the necessary rinse cycles.
Steaming Options
: Comes with a standard steam wand for traditional milk steaming and an automatic milk frother.
Stepless Burr Grinder
: The grinder has 50 mm flat burrs and is gear reduced to 750 RPM. Grinder has stepless adjustment using a worm gear, allowing for minute adjustment.
