The Andreja Just Makes Great Espresso |

After using a Gagga Espresso 2 cups/day for 16 years our first espresso machine was exhausted. I settled on the Andreja Premium after months of research. Spending well in excess of a $1000 for a espresso machine required some evaluation. My wife was not convinced. She felt it was very extravagant! After a week of getting to "know" the machine, she is a confirmed believer! The Andreja just makes great espresso. It does not required any kind of a ritualistic dance to get great espresso; after letting the machine warm up for 30 minutes you just fill the porta filter, tamp and pull the espresso. It is as simple as that. I looked as all of the website on the Rancillio. It is claimed that you can get good espresso if you go through a long litany of temp surfing. None of that is required with the Andreja. PS. My wife ordered the direct connect kit.

Best Espresso Machine I've Ever Owned |

I walked into SCG unsure what kind of machine I wanted or needed, a superautomatic or semi. After spending an hour or more with the staff I ended up with my Quickmill. Not only is it a stunning looking machine, but it is hands down the best espresso machine I've ever owned or used! I spent hours online researching different brands, but I never truly understood what a "puck" was until I got this machine. My other espresso machines never deposited a clean "puck". The staff took their time with me and walked me thru using the machine. They assured me they were a phone call away and they were. When I finally set up all my new equipment I was a bit overwhelmed by the very intimidating looking machine. I picked up the phone and in a few minutes they walked me thru all the procedures again and I was on my way! I've never looked back. I feel like a pro! While it is certainly an investment, this is the BMW of espresso machines and you will have no regrets! It's a must have!

After months of research and countless hours of OK coffee while looking through forums, shops and websites I jumped right in. I bought this with the MACAP M4 stepless doser grinder. I had little experience with machines prior to this, and with the help of staff at their shop they helped me dial in my grinder and learn some finer points on pulling shots and steaming milk. It's definitely got a learning curve and took a month or so get really consistent shots and milk. One thing I'd do different would be to get the direct plumbing kit right off. Excellent machine, it pulls great shots! A little sticky with the steam knob if you close it too fast. You can cheat with a 4 hole tip for easier steaming if the 2 hole is too much power for you. My only other gripe is that now except for: Lighthouse, Stumptown, Satellite and Sleeping Monk shops, getting coffee out just doesn't compare anymore!

Machine works great. Excellent build/ reliability for the past couple of months. Only thing is that occasionally there is a rattle or clicking sound when extracting a shot.

I wanted convenience, but... |

We visited Seattle Coffee Gear's showroom to look at their superautomatic coffee machines. We looked at the Jura Z6 and Saeco Primea Ring machines. We brewed the same Lavazza coffee through each and Gail also recommended we pull a shot through the Andreja for comparison. Wow what a difference...we were sold. We pulled several more shots and were convinced that this machine had all the convenience we needed. We also purchased a doser MACAP grinder to go with it.
We have just set this up and are planning to install the pumbing kit to complete our coffee bar.
I'm so glad we were able to see this machine in person before we ordered one of the other machines. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking at superautomatic machines.
