Commercial-Grade Burr Grinder - The 50mm steel grinding plates are the same construction and quality as Rancilio's other, commercial grinders
Perfect Capacity - Smaller than the big, commercial grinders, this machine still handles a little over a half-pound of beans at a time
Dosing - With a twist of the lever, you portion out 7oz of fresh grounds into a waiting portafilter at a time

Cons

Not for the Cheap Hearted - Though it's much less expensive than Rancilio's larger machines, this is still a blow to the pocketbook unless you have a real passion for regular coffee grinding
Power Switch - Some have complained about the placement of the power switch on the Rocky, which makes it difficult to handle the portafilter and operate the machine at the same time
It's a Big Boy - This bad boy weighs 18 pounds, and the motor makes 11 of those pounds. This will take center stage in a small kitchen, so make your measurements before buying

Fill the bean hopper with beans, adjust to the appropriate setting and turn on grinder.

Excellent Home Hopper: The compact hopper is blue-tinted for UV protection of your beans, but still easily see-through for monitoring of your bean level. The hopper holds over .5lbs of beans, and lifts off for easy cleaning.

55 Ways to Grind: A twist of the grind dial on the Rocky gives you 55 levels of control over the output of the grinder. The ultra-fine threading allows you the versatility of going from drip to Turkish or French press coffee brewing, and every other type between!
