One of the best purchases I've ever made March 26, 2009 Reviewer: Steve V. from Houston, TX United States   When I wanted to upgrade to a 'grown-up' espresso machine I did research online, with barristas at coffee bars and friends who own various machines. The former two sources provided great technical information and the latter sources provided good usability information. Common thread for many friends with whom I spoke admitted their machines were mostly idle. It seemed 6+ months after purchase the novelty wore off, busy schedules took over and their love for espresso became a weekend activity. I decided to purchase the super automatic produced by Saeco. It offered the flexibility to do an espresso or long coffee. I am SO happy each morning that I turn the dial, set the dose and push the button! Satisfied October 25, 2008 Reviewer: Claudia H. from Auburn, WA United States   We love our machine, but it can be a little cranky. It is often tricky to get the brew group door closed so the green light will come on. The frothing when we steam is inconsistent - sometimes very frothy and sometimes barely any foam at all.
