Saeco Odea Go Espresso Machine II

The Odea Go II is updated to allow for more choice in beans and grind settings. It's the least expensive model in the Odea series and it's a pretty straightforward superautomatic that is a great choice if you'd like to upgrade to automated shot extraction without dropping too much coin.

Pros

Ceramic Burrs - Updated grinder operates more quietly, staying sharper longer than their steel counterparts
Simple Functionality - Select your shot volume each time you pull your shot and hit the cup button once or twice for single or double shots
Easy to Clean - Removable brew group is simple to maintain: Just pull it out and spray it down once a week

Cons

Not Rapid Steam - It takes a little longer to switch between steam and brew because you have to wait for the boiler to change temperatures
No SBS - Saeco's unique pressure technology is absent on the Go

How it Works
Your main variable on the Go is the water volume included in the shot: The dial on the front of the machine controls how much water is in your shot. Then you can press the cup button once or twice for a single or double shot.

Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:

Descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
Soap out water tank (if applicable) and drip tray every few days
Remove the brew group and spray it down without soap once per week
