How it Works
The grind, tamp pressure and extraction time all play vital roles in extracting great espresso from this automatic machine. The flexibility in brewing options let you choose between non-pressurized (requiring a higher end grinder and calibrating your coffee grind and tamp similarly to how a professional does it), pressurized (which lets you use pre-ground coffee or a grinder that doesn't grind very consistently) or single-serving ESE pod brewing (by inserting the single basket over the pressurized insert).

Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:
- Descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
- Soap out water tank and drip tray every few days
- Rinse portafilter and baskets after each use.
- Brush brew head gasket area weekly to remove any coffee build-up

Components & Functionality
- Commercial-Style Portafilter - The Sirena comes with the 58mm, chrome-plated brass portafilter, which retains temperature for the ideal extraction.
- Programmable- One-touch pre-measured single and double shots that are programmable to your taste. Single shot button has a minimum water dosage of 1.5oz. while the double shot button has a minimum water dosage of 3.0 oz.
- Frothing Ease - The Sirena's steam wand with panarello adapter makes it easy to create a fine, silky microfoam without much skill or practice.
- Simple - If you use the pressurization inserts, the Sirena is self-tamping and automatically creates appropriate back pressure for great shots. Taking the elements of tamping and grind out of the picture makes the Sirena an excellent machine for a wide range of skill levels.
- Water Indicator Light - With a LED water tank empty indicator light, the Sirena notifies the user when to refill the 58 oz. water reservoir.
- Pod-Compatible- For a clean, consistent experience, the Sirena accommodates ESE pods as well as ground espresso.
- Auto Shut-Off - This valuable safety feature shuts off the machine after 90 minutes of inactivity.
