Saeco Talea Giro Plus Espresso Machine (V2-Redesign)
The newly redesigned Talea Giro (now called Talea Giro Plus) now includes a bipass doser for preground coffee and an upgrade to 5 instead of 3 grind fineness settings. The Talea Giro Plus is a straightforward superautomatic without a ton of programming to get in the way, but you can expect the same great espresso drinks! It features Rapid Steam for a quick switch between brew and steam, high clearance on the steam wand and an adjustable & removable drip tray – giving you some of the best cup clearance on the market.

Pros
- Dosing - Three different dosage levels allow you to customize your drink and now also includes a preground option for decaf
- SBS - Add more or less pressure to produce different crema levels on your shot
- Side Access - With a easy spin wheel on the bottom and side access to the water reservoir, dregs box and brew group, the Giro is very simple to maintain

- Limited Programming - Doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the higher end touch screen models
- Plastic Casing - Wish there was more metal incorporated into the case although the new 'Plus' model now includes a stainless steel drip tray

How it Works
Each time you brew, you'll set the shot volume, dosing and pressure uniquely so you can easily tweak your shot to your preferences.

Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:
- Descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
- Soap out water tank and drip tray every few days
- Remove the brew group and spray it down with hot water (no soap!) about once per week

- Adjustable Dosing - Select from three different dosage settings to vary the strength of your shot. The new Plus model includes a 4th option that activates the preground option for decaf coffee.
- Saeco Brewing System (SBS) - Pressurization dial lets you select from more or less pressure so you can dial in your crema preferences.
- Removable Stainless Steel Drip Tray - With some of the best cup clearance of any superautomatic on the market, the Giro can accommodate even taller cups.
- Stainless Steel Boiler - Boiler with Rapid Steam technology lets you go right from brewing to steaming with no lag time.
- Ceramic Burr Grinder - A quieter grinder than their steel counterparts, ceramic burrs also stay sharper longer. You can adjust the grinder to five different coarseness settings. The Plus version has been updated to include the new Saeco Adapting System (SAS) which automatically adjusts to work with you favorite bean selection.
- Panarello Attachment - A sturdy steam wand includes an attachment that makes frothing easy, requiring little intervention on your part. Wand also dispenses hot water as another option.
- 57 oz Water Reservoir - Fit for the optional Aqua Prima filter (to reduce scale buildup), the removable water tank is accessed from the side, making it easy to clean and refill.
- Removable Brew Group - Also accessed from the side, this brew group is easy to clean and maintain –just pull it out once a week & spray it down with hot water to keep it in great shape.
- Wheel Base - Smoothly move the machine across your countertop without having to lift it.
- Optional: Milk Island - For even more automation, the Giro lets you add on a side Milk Island that will froth up your milk without any assistance from you.
