- The Crema Claim - Out-of-the-box, this machine is not designed to deliver true crema. While it is capable of brewing delicious shots, you'd have to buy aftermarket portafilter basket add-ons to really up the head on your shots

How it Works
Pre-heat the boiler on your SL 90, add your grounds or espresso pod, and then select from your programmed drink options. Steam milk using the wand.

Care
For detailed care instructions, please refer to your machine's user manual. We recommend that you also incorporate the following into your cleaning routine:
- Descale every 2 - 3 months. We recommend using Dezcal.
- Clean the brew group with a cleaning brush daily
- Soap out water tank (if applicable) and drip tray every few days

- Digital Controls: Unlike its little brother, the SL 70, the SL 90 features digital controls that allow you to set the brew strength, size and temperature with the press of a button.
- Pick Your Grind: You have the option of filling the filter with either the grounds of your choosing or using your favorite pre-packaged espresso pods. The machine comes with portafilters for either option.
- Hot and Fast: With a 3-quart removable water tank and a 19-bar pump system, this machine is designed to churn out cup after cup of delicious coffee in 15-20 seconds per shot.
- Silky Milk: Delicious and creamy foam are the hallmarks of famous coffee drinks like lattes and cappuccinos, so why not indulge? A twist of the steam knob allows you to froth, steam, or simply use the nozzle as a hot water delivery system for non-coffee drinks -- all with superfast results!
- Save Your Counters: The SL 90 is a tad shorter than most, and can neatly tuck under low cabinets.
- Super-size It?: With an adjustable drip tray, you can go large when you need to.
