Features of the Bestmax Installation Kit M

  • Saves Space: Get maximum capacity in the smallest of spaces due to High Efficiency Technology (HET), an improved flow design, unique BWT-optimized filter material, new activated carbon pre-filtration, and maximum utilization of the entire filter bed.
  • Clean Machine: The Bestmax water filter reduces mineral content that causes lime scale build up in espresso machines.
  • Extends Machine Life: With buffered resin, the Bestmax stablizes the water pH and corrosion is never a problem.
  • Five-Step Filtration: 1. Prefiltration for installation related particles 2. Activated carbon pre-filter for ion exchange 3. High-performance ion exchanger for the highest capacity in the smallest spaces 4. Activated carbon filtration to eliminate unpleasant tastes and odors including filtration of bypass water 5. Fine filtration creates clear water at all times.
  • Large Capacity: Compared to other filters this size, the Bestmax has three times higher capacity and an extended filter life. It's capacity can filter up to 3,800 liters.
Pros
  • Saves Space - This compact filter system can be installed vertically, horizontally, upside down, mounted on a wall, or any which way you want.
  • Not Wasteful - No water is ever wasted as it runs through this system, unlike with a reverse osmosis system.
  • Capacity - Unlike other filter systems, the Bestmax calculates filter replacement on capacity and consumption versus over time. Filters need to be change at least once a year.
Cons
  • Time and Money - Even at a lower cost than most other filters, keep in mind time and money spent on commercial system installation should be factored in as well.

Teri KStaff: This Bestmax filter is meant to be hooked up as an in-line water filter for plumbed in espresso machines. I imagine you may be able to hook it up to run to to a tap, but I am honestly not sure how this can be done! Hopefully other folks who've bought the Bestmax can provide some insight, or maybe a plumber would know a bit more! Jul 9, 2013

A shopper asked: Have you noticed any taste that the Bestmax filtration system imparts to the flavor of the water? I currently am using a Maeva system and have noticed a taste that it imparts. For my straight drinking water I use a Multipure system which is just a charcoal based system and it has a different taste and is less noticeable than the Mavea's softened system.

So what do you think about your Bestmax?
