A Note About Coffee & Cups
Let us break it down for you: Although 8 ounces equals a cup in the baking world, a US cup of coffee is measured at 6 ounces and a European cup of coffee is measured at 4.25 ounces. This is why we sometimes list ounces to paint a more accurate picture of capacity.

Brands and taste are personal choice. The important thing with this french press is the grind size. Choose a grind that is specific for the french press. If the grind is espresso, it is too fine and coffee grounds will be in your cup, too large of a grind, say for regular coffee pot, and the taste will be weak.

I used this for the first time yesterday/today I did a 12 hour brew using Ethiopia Wote Konga beans roasted on 3/17. This is way easier to use than a standard French press. Has a great feel to it. The glass doesn't come out or move around, it has an additional lid designed to use during the steeping time which is cool. Smooth French press action, thick glass, and it looks sleek! I'll buy another soon.
