Quick Overview
The Cafelat Drop Tamper features an elegant drop design, a shape that contributes to an excellent tamping technique for equally excellent espresso. The Drop Tamper is available with a natural wood handle and a brushed, satin stainless-steel base that measures 53mm or 58mm in diameter. Also choose from a flat or convex base style.
How the Cafelat Drop Tamper Works
- Fill your portafilter with your favorite grind
- Give it a good approximate 30 lb tamp as evenly as possible
- Lightly knock the side of the portafilter to shake any loose grinds
- Give it another light tamp to push those grinds into place

Great product

Quality Value Price I was very impressed to see the quality of this tamper. San Antonio, TX has a limited supply of quality espresso products and had never seen such a highend tamper. I love it!
Pros:
Easy To Clean, Easy To Use, Commercial Grade

Nice tamper!

Quality Value Price I like the tamper. It is very well made, nice wood handle, and performs decently with careful use on a bottomless portafilter.
It would be slightly more comfortable for me with a bit larger handle waist but this is not a big issue. I also like tampers with a bit more heft in the piston, but the balance is good.
Pros:
Easy To Use, Easy To Clean
