My number one PFReview by George Branning

I still get on my knees to see the tiger striping. Guess I like tiger stripes more than mouse tails.

Great freebie w/ CC1, but I'd still buy one separatelyReview by Revolver1978

This came with my CC1, and I love it. It helps me get my tamp correct, it's eat to watch the coffee flow from the bottom, and best of all I can fit a Bodum Bistro mug underneath with the higher clearance it provides! You also don't lose as much heat from a cold regular portafilter since there is no mass below to heat up.
Like the regular portafilter on the CC1, the handle could be longer. Also, the spring-fit for the basket isn't as tight as on the regular portafilter.

Use this regularly instead of the standard PFReview by BH

The bottomless PF was included free of charge with my purchase of CC1. Needless to say, it is very useful as a diagnostic and learning tool. I now use it on a regular basis, going back to the standard PF only when I need to split the shot. Watching the espresso flow from the bottom is great, it is also easier to clean than the standard PF.
