Try a sip of Seattle, embodied in Caffe Ladro's signature espresso blend. Ladro Espresso is a little spot of sunshine on a stormy day. By itself it is creamy and sweet with mild chocolate flavor. In a milk-based drink it adds layers of flavor without the addition of sweetener or syrups. It makes a balanced espresso or a full-bodied drip coffee.
- 12 ounce bag, Premium Whole Bean Coffee
- Roasted Fresh in Seattle
|How Does it Compare?||
The roast notes reference Creamy, Sweet, Chocolate, Dark Cherry and Caramel. However the SCG Crew (who sometimes - but not always - get it right) noted aroma of buttered toast and delicious Mexican food. The taste was a crowd pleaser as a drip and as Shiami's favorite drink, a lungo.
|Tips and Tricks||
This espresso is one of our favorites. It makes a beautiful Americano. It is very delicate in milk however. Consider using less milk if you make a latte. The espresso flavor will shine through and since this espresso is not bitter or acidic, you don't need to mask harshness with milk.

I can order 2 lbs of local ground Guatemala coffee for $20/lb, and the Lavazza Oro comes in 2.2 lb bags from SCG. For those of us who are not local and have to pay shipping charges, would you consider selling 1 or 2 lb bags, why 12 ounces? Nov 23, 2013

Very interesting espresso tasteReview by Alex
Price Value Quality
I bought this coffee without knowing much about it. It's somewhat pricey, so I expected fairly good quality from it. I wasn't disappointed, while I wouldn't call this the perfect cup of coffee, it has a very interesting almost fruity aftertaste, exceedingly refreshing. It's a very good coffee to have in the summer.
Only reason I didn't give it top marks, is because I suspect the taste wouldn't be as enjoyable in winter where a creamier stronger taste would be desired, and the price is a little bit high for the quality of the product. But it's definitely worth a taste.

OK, but nothing specialReview by BCoffee

This is a good, but not exceptional, espresso. A mild blend, with no particularly interesting distinguishing characteristics.
