Quality Value Price Very easy to use. I purchased this because my office Delonghi automatic expresso maker got stopped up. Turns out, it was something gummed up inside the machine, not calcifications, so cleaning the inside parts manually are what did the trick. However, having this product motivated my husband to come in and fix my machine.

Quality Value Price Used a couple packets of the Dezcal on my aging Starbucks Barista that I bought used. After, almost a night & day difference. Pump is quieter, foaming nozzle has much better output, and my brewhead seems to have better flow as well.

Quality Value Price Easy to follow directions. I'd suggest using the concentrated commercial strength directions initially. This product really works well. I had an old espresso machine that had buildup to the point that the pump worked but no water came out. I almost bought a new machine but tried Dezcal first(1packet then a second packet) and have continued using the machine every day with quarterly 1 packet Dezcal tuneups......saved me a ton of money..sorry Gail and Kat!

Quality Value Price I have been lax about descaling, but this product is pretty straightforward, just drop one pill in you water tank with the prescribed amount of water, and run through. Then rinse lots.

Quality Value Price Without stripping down the machine I am assuming that the descale solution is doing its job. The light came on one week after my refurb Saeco Talea Giro arrived, which was a surprise considering I was using double filtered water, but it went off after descaling with this stuff and has not come back on again since. So, I guess it is happy now!

Durgol better but Dezcal still quite goo

Quality Value Price Durgol decalcifier seems to work quicker, better and with less mess. However two cleanings is about $12, if I get it on discount.Dezcal requires extra dissolving and running more volume through the machine with a longer rinse time. It still seems to work quite nice but not quite as good as Durgol. But at[$] for 4 treatments I think the effectiveness is close enough to Durgol and extra time worth the savings.

Quality Value Price I had de-scaled my espresso machine couple of weeks ago with a different product thinking it would take care of the scale build up, I was wrong. The steam pressure was getting kind of weak so I thought it would be a good idea to try this out. I ended up getting this product and followed Gail's instructions from youtube video on how to use this product. Boy did it help; stuff came flowing out of my espresso machine as though I hadn't cleaned it in months. Now the pressure is back to normal and I couldn't be happier.
