French Press Coffee Makers
Often referred to as a "French Press," coffee presses combine ease of use with slow-brew quality, without the eco-terror of disposable filters. Using your press is simple: Start with freshly ground beans and grind them coarsely just before each brew. Add good quality, filtered water that's been heated to between 198 and 204 degrees Fahrenheit. The right temperature is essential to extract essential oils and to develop the fullest flavor from the coffee beans. Stir, then let the grounds steep in the the hot water for four minutes before pressing the plunger down to filter out the grounds. Pour and enjoy!
