Price Value Quality Grindz seems to have been around as long as I've been grinding my own coffee, a good many years now. It seems to do what it is supposed to do, just fine. To be sure I don't know of any competing products, though they may well exist. I will continue to use it.

Seems to work, hard to get out again

Quality Price Value I have a newish grinder so I honestly couldn't tell you if this stuff works to seriously clean an old grinder, removes oils, etc. I did have trouble getting it back out of the machine -- there were light-colored grinds still coming out of the spout even after I ground some sacrificial beans, and even three or four espresso shots later. Fortunately it is edible, and I haven't noticed an off taste.

Dont use rice

Quality Value Price I tried rice in one of my grinders for cleaning and it was too tough, it got caught in the gear and bent the plastic ring holding the burr in place. The Grindz cleaner flows through better and has a degreaser ingredient for the old oils. Now I will never treat my grinder to anything less.

Quality Value Price very easy to use, though i wish the box would have had instructions for weather to have the grinder set to coarse or fine while using the grindz.
(maybe it was on there and i just missed it)
