This heavy gauge, stainless steel has a brushed finish and its rubber base easily removes for cleaning. The wider mouth of the box makes it easy to knock out your grounds without messy splatter. The knock out rod can also be removed (with a little bit of muscle or a pair of pliers) for cleaning.

I would assume you could contact the maker of the box to request a new knob or you could take the threaded bar to Lowes and find out what type of threads are used and then search for an interesting finial with the same threads. It wouldn't match but it would be unique.

Quality Value Price This is a great addition to your espresso setup. I make three pucks every morning with an occasional afternoon shot. This knock box keeps me from running to the garbage bin and helps speed up the process. It also segregates the used coffee grounds, so you can use them for other purposes.

Quality Value Price Great product, great size easy to clean. On the downside the bottom is stamped on and mine fell off after a few months of use. I repaired it by sweating it on like copper pipe and now it is even water proof so all is good.

Quality Value Price Well made with adequate size/capacity to hold about a dozen or more pucks before discard. Cleans up easily. Shape helps to contain most "splatter" when bumping out a puck.

Quality Value Price Not much to say about this. Does a good enough job for a decent price. The removable insert makes cleanup a bit nicer. If your kitchen is a bit tighter in space, this might take up too much counter space.
