A shopper asked: What's the main difference between the Jura F50 vs. Jura J6? Do both have Thermoblock? Apr 30, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (1) No (0)
Teri KStaff: Yes, both the Jura F50 and the Jura J6 have a thermoblock system. They are fairly similar, as they both use the Auto froth system and have a fair amount of programming and similar sized water tanks. Both are capable of producing a similar shot and milk based drink, but between the two, we've found the F50 to be a bit more straightforward as far as programming/navigation goes. Apr 30, 2013

Garrett: I just purchased an F50 Classic. Overall, I do like it. However, I am finding out that I miss the manual frothing ability of my prior machine (Saeco Magic DeLuxe) much better. The Froth Xpress creates more of a bubble froth than I am used to. I am now contemplating purchasing the frother attachment (which seems only to be available via Jura direct) or return the F50 and get the J6. The J6 seems to have more options, larger capacities and also comes with both frothing options (Froth Xpress and Dual Frother Plus). May 27, 2013
Teri KStaff: If you'd like to have the flexibility of either frothing manually with the Dual Frother Plus, or the autofroth from the frothXpress, then the J 6 may be a better option for you. I would say to keep in mind that the Jura machines do provide slightly larger bubbles than what you may be used to with your Saeco. Next time you froth, you can incorporate some of these larger bubbles by tapping the frothing pitcher onto your counter and swirling it to create a bit more unified foam. Hope this helps! Jim O asked: how do I set my Jura Impressa F50 Classic to read in ounces (oz) as opposed to ML? Apr 14, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Garrett: Go into the programming mode (button "P") and make the adjustment there. May 27, 2013
