How the La Marzocco Strada Portafilter Basket - 58mm Works
Fill it up just like you would a standard portafilter:
- Lightly fill the portafilter basket to the top.
- Use your finger to gently even out the grounds.
- Lightly press the tamper into the grounds and find a good center point.
- Evenly apply approximately 30 lbs. of pressure to the grounds.

Quality Value Price This is the highest quality filter basket I have seen. It comes along with data which confirms proper & consistent hole size of YOUR actual filter. I also love the deeper basket. It has a 17g capacity and its much easier to get a higher dose of coffee tamped just right without having to struggle to get it in the group head. I use it with my Rancilio and a Rancilio bottomless portafilter and it worked like a dream. I should caution it does require a bottomless or naked portafilter for my set up, but if you are considering this product you probably already have one. All and all I would strongly recommend this to the home enthusiast.
