I would recommend either an Airscape canister (http://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/Airscape-Coffee-Bean-Canister-p/scg30511.htm) or Coffee Bean Vac (http://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/Coffee-Bean-Vac-p/scg10005-3.htm). If you purchase the Bean Vac, please keep in mind that its capacity is just over 1 pound. Feb 7, 2012

Second best but delicious!
Review by Mariah -
Price Value Quality I tried a different Lavazza roast that my sister and her family are obsessed with and it was really good! I decided to look through Lavazza on my own and found this roast. It sounded good for what I was looking for, whole beans for my Breville espresso machine at home. I gave it four stars out of five only because it didn't surpass my favorite espresso beans that we use at the coffee stand I work at.
I am from WA state and I like to think I'm a coffee expert, coffee has always been a big thing in my family and it's a hobby of mine to try new coffee shops! My personal favorite is an iced coconut mocha, try it sometime! :)(Posted on 4/14/13)

Confused
Review by Skink91 -
Price Value Quality I (unfortunately) bought 3 2lb. bags on these reviews alone, without a test. To be fair, I've only opened one of the bags so perhaps I got a bad one but I found the beans to be both stale and over-roasted/burned: a terrible combination. I must be missing something.

Lovely way to start the day.
Review by Littlebird -
Price Value Quality I've tried this in the preground and this is by far the best.
I always have a consistand cup of espresso, always.
I've used this in the preground and at times it's bitter, never consistant. I love flavor, not strong espresso and this delivers!
Love it!

An Experiment Gone Terribly Right
Review by Java Addict -
Quality Price Value This may be anathema to purists, but I wanted to test its super-hyped smoothness and ground it coarse & brewed it in my French press. It was the smoothest, most satisfying cup of coffee I've ever had. I kept making loud exclamations not usually associated with drinking coffee. If you'll excuse me, I need to go smoke a cigarette...

The other Reviews? Right ON!
Review by Fast Fred -
Quality Value Price There isn't much that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. We've tried almost all of the Lavazza coffee blends. So far, this is our favorite.
My nose and palate aren't sophisticated enough to get hints of this and notes of that. All I know is that it tastes like REALLY GREAT COFFEE.
Every time.
And I don't mind admitting that I like a little steamed foamy milk on top. Yummmm.

Great Taste

Won't drink anything else
Review by Kim @ 5am -
Quality Value Price We found Lavazza Super Crema at Cafe Rosa Mystica in San Luis, CO. At first we thought the latte was awesome because of the skill of the barista - but she, the owner, said "No, it's the coffee." So we bought our first bag there and then found it online. We don't drink anything else, unless we forget to order in time.
Pros:
Great Taste, Smooth

Newbie says best tasting bean yet
Review by Teamslo24 -
Quality Value Price I'm somewhat new to espresso and wanted to find something better than the wholesale store coffee. After buying my first real espresso machine from SCG (Saeco Talea Giro Plus V2) I sought a better coffee. I believe I've found it in Lavazza's Super Crema. The earthy flavor of this coffee sits very well with my family. I initially described it as smelling like peanut butter (peanuts grow in the ground, so earthy fits). The aroma is pleasant to me. I'm now trying out another brand of espresso, with a backup bag of Lavazza in the cupboard ready when I need it and I'm not impressed with this new brand. Did not buy from SCG, but had high ratings.
Pros:
Great Taste

Know your taste buds!
Review by matt -
Quality Value Price This is for shots standing alone.Very smooth , so smooth that adding cream dilutes favour. I am weaning down to very little cream on this one due to its smooth and suttle notes to start with. So far I am totally impressed with the Gold Lavazza. I believe my next cup will be best since each new coffee of origin has a breakin time.

Quality Value Price My wife and I have been using several brands of coffee in our Jura Impressa J5 including Lily and Starbucks whole bean brands.
We brew single cups of coffee with this product and it is hands down the best coffee we've experienced so far. When they say Super Crema they aren't kidding.
We will be back for more!

Our favorite coffee!
Review by Debiko -
Quality Value Price Lavazza coffee is our favorite and this roast is at the top of our list for their offerings. For us its the "gold standard" to which we compare other coffee that we try... but we always return to this one ;-) Superb creama indeed with a rich, smooth, coffee flavor that can be depended on from every bag.
Pros:
Great Taste, Exceptional creama

Review by Embs -
Quality Value Price These beans are FAB. For shots or milk drinks, the flavor is sooo good and sooo consistent. The roast is a perfect medium and the extraction packs a nice wallop that will keep you alive for a few hours. I set the rocky at about 5 and get CREMA that would float a coal barge!
Pros:
Grinds very nice
Cons:

Nice in some aspects
Review by German_Coffee_Nut -
Quality Value Price These beans are nice for a smooth Espresso. They do not work well in any Espresso drinks. The brewed Espresso, although very smooth, will go under in flavored drink. You need a bean with more kick for that. I might get this again, simply for the shot, but will try another Lavazza bean before I decide on that.
Pros:
Smooth straight Espresso, Nice crema
Cons:
Weak for Espresso drinks(Posted on 7/18/10)

Good Beans for Crema
Review by KL -
Quality Value Price I am used to darker, richer roasts, so the taste is kind of light (more European), but it makes really yummy and good looking crema. I like to buy fair trade and organic beans.

My favorite
Review by Ardie -
Quality Value Price This is my everyday bean and it lives up to it's name. The crema is wonderful every time I draw a shot. My Rancilio Rocky grinder never has any oil residue or gunk build up. The taste is what I would call mild, not burnt or over roasted. It has the regular amount of espresso jolt to it though. I have only tried a few other blends, but I keep coming back to this one! I also like the DEK for a decaff coffee. Lavaza is a good all around bean choice. Life is too short to drink bad coffee!
Pros:
Not your ordinary
Cons:
