Quick Overview
Mavea has upped the ante and used its super Maxtra filter technology in a format designed to fit all types of Brita Filtration Pitcher systems. Now Brita owners will enjoy the ease of a filter that needs no pre-soaking and is effective in reducing limescale and other unwanted elements.
How the Mavea Classic Fit Water Filter works
Quick and easy, there's no need for pre-soaking, just pop the filter into a Brita Water Filter Pitcher and you will reduce chlorine, carbon, and limescale in your filtered water. Comes in a handy two pack.
The filter reduces water hardness, the source of scale build up in many boilers. You will have a happy espresso machine that will have an easier time extracting that ideal espresso shot without limescale getting in the way. The filter is designed to have optimal contact time with water for consistent performance. A micro-screen reduces black particle release in the pitcher and is treated with silver to inhibit the growth of bacteria. Made with BPA-free plastic.

| Filtration | Once the Mavea Maxtra Filter is inserted into a Brita-style filter pitcher it uses a combination of activated carbon and other filtration methods to filter out limescale, chlorine taste and odor, organic impurities (benzene and tetrachloroethylene), heavy metals (mercury, cadmium and copper), and certain pesticides (simazine and atrazine.) |
