Quick Overview
The Mavea Maxtra Filter Replacement is designed to work with the Mavea Elemaris filtered water pitcher. It reduces the release of carbon particles, chlorine, and unwanted elements into your water. As an added plus the pitcher makes espresso making easier and tastier.
How the Mavea Elemaris Water Filter Pitcher Works
Quick and easy, there's no need for pre-soaking, just pop the replacement Maxtra Filter into the Elemaris Pitcher. You can set the change indicator to remind you when to replace your filter next.
The filter reduces water hardness, the source of scale build up in many boilers. Your espresso machine will have an easier time extracting that ideal espresso shot without limescale getting in the way. The filter is designed to have optimal contact time with water for consistent performance. A micro-screen reduces black particle release in the pitcher and is treated with silver to inhibit the growth of bacteria. Manufactured from BPA-free plastic.
| Tips and Tricks | We recommend changing out replacement filters every 8 weeks or 40 gallons. The Mavea Meter will let you know when to change your cartridge. |
