Do these cups retain heat well? Do they keep the liquid hot without the outside of the cup itself getting too hot?

Best Answer: These mugs are professional grade cafe' quality. I continually see them all over the country in coffee shops. They retain heat very well and the outside will get warm but not hot. You will not be disappointed. They also look very classy as well.

The size says 3 oz - is that to the brim? My moka pot makes exactly 3 oz and I'm wondering if that would be too much for this cup.

What is the diameter of the cup BASE and saucer BASE ("Demitasse" and "Latte" cups)? I am looking to buy these two Acme cup sizes and am presently making wood serving boards with inset circles to hold the cups or w/the saucers. Thanks.
