A watched pot never boils? No Way! The Adagio Glass Water Kettle boils up a storm whether you are watching it or not. Although it looks impossibly delicate, it is made out of sturdy borosilicate glass and is suitable for gas, electric and glass cooktops. The 60 oz/1.75 liter capacity elevates the simple task of boiling water to stylish new heights. The lid is nice fitting with a small round blue plastic lid pull on top and the spout is large for easy flow pours.
A Note About Coffee & Cups
Let us break it down for you: Although 8 ounces equals a cup in the baking world, a US cup of coffee is measured at 6 ounces and a European cup of coffee is measured at 4.25 ounces. This is why we sometimes list ounces to paint a more accurate picture of capacity.

Ask a Question
There is a note about cups, an order applies only to kettle? I wanna buy only kettle.
In the video is a tea part shown, but the kettle on the picture lacks it, I would get information about what I buy.
What is a limit of temperature?
The Glass Teapot and Infuser is not meant to be used on the stovetop, but has an Infuser. The Glass Water Kettle is safe for stovetops but does not have an infuser. Either are heat resistant glass, but unfortunately do not have temperature limits listed on their packages. The Glass Water Kettle is stovetop safe to boil water at 212 degrees, and therefore I would assume is safe to use up to 230 degrees or so.
