Guinness Chocolate Cake Latte with Jameson Whipped Cream
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with this delicious coffee cocktail drink recipe!
- 2 oz espresso
- 6 oz steamed milk
- ½ oz Guinness chocolate syrup
- Jameson whipped cream
- Gold and green sprinkles for garnish
Combine Guinness chocolate syrup and espresso in a clear mug.
Stir until syrup is well incorporated with espresso.
Add steamed milk, leaving an inch of room.
Top with heaping scoop of Jameson whipped cream, and garnish with green sprinkles.
Jameson Whipped Cream Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon Jameson Irish Whiskey
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer.
Whisk until stiff peaks form.
Chocolate Guinness Syrup Ingredients:
- ½ cup Guinness Stout
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons black onyx cocoa powder
Add Guinness to a small saucepan, bring to simmer and cook off alcohol, this can take about 10-15 minutes.
Add sugar cocoa powder, and whisk until dissolved.
Let cool and store in a mason jar or other airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.
