Which filter does the Impressa F50 Classic use? It came with a Clearyl blue one (without a model number), but I see a blue 60, a blue 75, and some have longer or shorter "cones" on top. And the tables and video do not mention the Impressa F50 classic.

Best Answer: Dear Don H,
I had the same difficulty in replacing my filter. My machine is the Jura Impressa F9. I do not know if the filter for the F50 in the same as the F9. The F9 uses filter no. 7520. I found Jura's customer service information in the owner's manual.

I had to replace my filter on my Jura Ena 9. I have done the filter replacement before and it worked fine after. but this time despite the filter change it is still flashing Ready/Replace Filter. I bought both the machine and replacement from SCG.
Is there something wrong with the new filter or the machine?
Jeremy F on Mar 24, 2014
Best Answer: I haven't had this problem, but it sounds as if the machine hasn't registered that you have completed all the steps. I would go through the whole replacement again carefully following the steps in the instruction booklet. Be sure to keep the tray out long enough, etc., so it sets itself at each step. I reuse the same new filter; just take is out and re-use it - the machine won't know that you aren't taking a new one out of the bag.
If that doesn't work, go through the steps for manual replacement.

if I only used bottled distilled water for making my coffee with my jura micro ena 9. do I still have to replace the filters frequently as specified. Or should I just switch to using tap water and use the filter and replace them as specified?
shopaholic on May 15, 2016
Best Answer: I have a few answers. My 15 year experience with these machines tells me that they are fussy and I might just replace them as needed. 2nd as long as you are cleaning the machine when it asks it may be just fine to ignore the "REPLACE FILTER" prompt. My guess is that at some point it won't brew unless you at least put it through the replace filter routine, even if you are just resetting the exisiting filter. Hope that is some help.

What is the dial for that is in the water tank?
A shopper on Aug 13, 2016
Best Answer: The Jura will automatically let you know when the filter needs to be replaced, generally after about 200 cups.. However, if you use the coffeemarker only rarely, Jura recommends changing the filter about every 6 months (I think, check the manual). The dial is for you to set as a reminder. If you make coffee daily you can forget it.

Is the Clearly Blue 60 for the IMPRESSA E80?
A shopper on Oct 21, 2016
Best Answer: Jura is known to switch their required filter depending on which factory it is manufactured in. The easiest way to tell is to take a look at your water reservoir, the lid and filter locking mechanism will be either blue or white, which will correspond to the correct filter type.

Hope this helps!

You need this product for your machine to operate excellent and be maintainedReview by Coffee lover
Needed unless you use filtered water. Expensive. But found it here for the best price. Bought the four pack for the discount and the convenience of having them on hand. If you drink a lot of coffee you will need to change your filter about every 2 months (Posted on 12/2/2014)

Doing a great jobReview by Fine filter
I am very happy with my new machine and the filter system. The water in my area is very hard, and this filter is doing a great job of keeping that awful white powdery substance from forming and ruining my beautiful machine! I can't say enough about it! (Posted on 8/13/2013)
