Cold cups and hot coffee just don't mix. Why? When a hot beverage is poured into a cold porcelain cup, it loses quite a bit of heat. Jura has so cleverly created a solution: The Jura Cup Warmer, a stately black tower that keeps your cups at a toasty 131F so your favorite espresso or coffee drink will stay its warmest from the first pour to the last drop. Jura's Cup Warmer consists of two heating elements finished with two drawers that fit five espresso cups, four coffee cups or six cappuccino cups. Piping hot coffee or espresso, coming right up.
Keeps Cups Toasty - The Jura Cup Warmer keeps your cups warm — 131F so you can enjoy a piping hot cup of coffee or espresso.
Separate Machine - The Jura Cup Warmer is a separate machine from your espresso or coffee maker, so it will take up extra room in your kitchen or coffee space.

Tips and Tricks
The Jura Cup Warmer fits glasses up to 4.5 inches tall and about 3.5 inches wide.
Best Answer:This Jura cup warmer can be left on all the time, so your cups are hot when you need them. Depending on the size and thickness of your cups, I'd expect it would take about 20 minutes for the cups to heat.
Jura's website claims the maximum diameter and height for glasses are 3.5" and 4.3" respectively. I find that very hard to believe. I see in the Tips and Trips section you said the maximum height for a cup is 5.25". Can you please let me know what the maximum width is? 3.5" maxmimum width means latte cups won't fit!

Best Answer:Thanks for the heads up! We incorrectly listed this Jura cup warmer as fitting a taller cup. The cup size it will fit is only about 4 1/2 inches tall, and only 3 1/2 inches wide. It is true that it will not fit a wide latte cup, unfortunately!
While this item does in fact warm up cups, they are not very hot and lose the heat quickly. They could have created something more insulated and a bit hotter, or at least give you the option of going hotter.
The door closer is nice, and it is semi attractive. Maybe i am jaded since my expensive espresso machine doesn't heat the cappuccino enough, and the cup warmer doesn't compensate enough. (Posted on 5/9/2013)
