It turns out you cannot store milk in this container with the lid on! So forget about filling it up with milk and pulling it out of the fridge to connect to machine at your convenience. Also, they recommend replacing the hose every 3 months (it comes with 2). So essentially, to make a cappuccino, you would have to take milk out of fridge, pour into the milk container, connect it to the machine, and then clean this hard to wash contraption (which includes a metal straw).
Lastly, this thing is tall. According to the Jura manual, the milk should be sitting lower than than spout, meaning I need to adjust my jura spout to it's highest setting so that it sits even with the stainless steel milk container, and I prefer not to have the milk spewing several inches above my cappuccino cup.
Save yourself the hassle (and money, if you plan on buying the thing - I see now why they are giving them away), put the milk pipe that your machine comes with into a plain cup with milk that you can easily toss in the dishwasher and call it a day. (Posted on 1/20/2016)
