COVID-19 Response

Dear Fellow Coffee Lover,

As COVID-19 continues to have a serious effect on our communities here in Washington we wanted to provide an update on the actions we’re taking to protect you and our staff. The good news is that we are still open for business via and our sales team is available as always at 866-372-4734. We’re happy to be able to provide you with fresh coffee and the equipment to brew it during these trying times. With that being said, here are the steps we are taking to ensure the safety of everyone:

As this situation continues to evolve, we are closely monitoring guidance from the CDC and local health officials so we can make the best decisions possible to ensure the safety of everyone.

We are taking the following actions: 

  • We are continuing the rigorous cleaning and social distancing procedures in our warehouses that we adopted weeks ago.
  • We are implementing staggered shift structures in our warehouses to ensure a strict limit to the number of people allowed in the building at a time.
  • All staff who can work from home are currently required to do so.
  • We’re working to take care of all of our staff who cannot work from home to ensure the financial well being of the entire Seattle Coffee Gear Family.
  • Our repair teams are no longer accepting drop-offs or walk-ins, only shipped in machines will be accepted.
  • Our Bellevue retail location has closed permanently, but we are excited to announce that the Bellevue store will be moving to a beautiful new location in Kirkland. We hope to be open for business in May of 2020 - please stay tuned for more information on this exciting new store!
  • Our Alderwood Mall location will be closing for at least the two weeks mandated by the Governor’s Stay Home, Stay Healthy order. We will continue to monitor guidance from state and local government beyond that two week window and will keep you updated with our future plans.

We will be keeping up on our coffee content by working on special videos showing our YouTube hosts at home and how they make their morning cup. Stay tuned for those and make sure to check out our blog posts to help fill your day!
