Overview

Frieling has made the Primo stainless steel teapot sturdy and stylish. The handle is similar in design to their popular French press and cream and sugar sets. Outfit your own kitchen or start a new couple off right with the Frieling Primo Teapot and Infuser. It is made of 18/8 stainless steel with a micro mesh infuser and built to last a lifetime.

A Note About Coffee and Cups

Let us break it down for you: Although 8 ounces equals a cup in the baking world, a US cup of coffee is measured at 6 ounces and a European cup of coffee is measured at 4.25 ounces. This is why we sometimes list ounces to paint a more accurate picture of capacity.

Pros
  • Eye Catching - The shiny mirror finish brings the elevates the design from utilitarian to awesome!
  • Minimalist - Looks too good to put away in the cupboard, leave it out to admire
  • Birds of a Feather The Primo Teapot goes well with the stainless steel cream and sugar set and other Frieling products.
Cons
  • Single Walled - Watch your fingers, the lid and handle can get quite warm to the touch.
  • Fingerprints - If frequent polishing and buffing aren't your thing, you may not enjoy the mirror finish.
How Does it Compare?

The Frieling Primo Teapot and Infuser in stainless steel keeps tea nice and warm. The snug lid is perfect so it doesn't jiggle when you pour. The micro mesh strainer works well and there is also a built-in tea leaf catcher before the spout.

Can this teapot be used on an electric stovetop?
Cindy S on May 8, 2013
Best Answer: No, this Frieling Primo teapot is not intended to be used on any stovetop. You should just add boiling water to the tea in the infuser in the pot to brew.

A great product at a good price. Of course, choosing the right tea makes a big difference. I buy mine at a local coffee shop. The tea pot infuses it perfectly. (Posted on 2/20/2014)
