i use the larger Kallita filters with the steel Kallita cone at home. Will the Kallita filters fit into this device?
Michele J on Dec 4, 2017
Best Answer: Not really, Wave filters are flat bottom, while this dripper is a true cone shape.

Hi, I prefer the cone shaped filter. Which size/brand could I use with this that's cone shaped? Thx!

Best Answer: In the video, we brew with this GSI Java Drip using a #4 Melitta style filter, which has a flatter bottom but is still cone shaped. If you'd like to experiment with a cone filter that comes to a point then you could try a Hario filter, however the point would need folded a bit at the base since this dripper is not quite the same shape as the Hario V60s. Awesome ProductReview by Reenie
This product has been part of my camp kitchen gear for the last 5 years or so! I have been a "pour-over" coffee brewer for over 25 years and am so happy to have this collapsible cone for camping (hiking, backpacking, etc). I've experimented with many other brewing methods, from french press, percolator, coffee bags, "cowboy coffee", even to gourmet instant, but nothing beats the flavor and ease of cleanup than pour over method.
