Furthering the simplicity, Hario made the olive wood handle and leather strap removable so you can easily clean the glass body in the dishwasher. Hario suggests this press yields approximately 400mL. However in SCG testing, we used approximately 5 tablespoons of ground coffee and filled with hot water to the bottom of the wood handle (as suggested by Hario). This ratio yielded approximately 450mL (14 ounces) of freshly brewed coffee.
|Tips and Tricks||
All of the wooden parts are made from natural olive wood. To keep your wood components in pristine condition, never soak the olive wood in water and always wipe clean after each use.
