  • Variable Brew Chamber: Depending on the strength and volume selected, the F8 will brew anywhere from 5 - 16 grams of coffee.
  • Auto-Off: Program the Impressa to power down after a certain amount of inactivity.
  • Fine Foam Frother: Enjoy a rich and creamy milk based drink lovingly prepared by Jura's fine foam frother.
  • Hot Water Option: Do you fancy a spot of tea now and then? The F8 offers a hot water option that pours directly from the frothing spout. This machine is always ready and willing to steep your leaves!
  • Large Reservoir: The Impressa also features 64 ounce removable water reservoir for easy filling.
  • Hot Shot! - When testing this machine we clocked the freshly brewed espresso temperature at 183°F while it was free flowing from the coffee spout. The average espresso temperature resting in a cup was approximately 176°F. Talk about a hot shot!
  • Colorful Display - The graphics provided on the TFT color display are well done and fun to watch!
  • Easy Start-Up - After a few simple questions (language preference, water hardness and filter preference) and a quick water tank and bean hopper fill, the F8 is raring to go!
  • Tepid Milk - While we were very impressed with the espresso temperature, the milk temperature leaves much to be desired (if you desire super hot milk!). However, the hot espresso plus the lukewarm milk makes for a very drinkable latte macchiato or cappuccino.
How Does it Compare?

When testing three separate samples of steamed and frothed milk, the average milk temperature on the F8 came to approximately 127°F.

Does this have a water filter option?
claudine h on Feb 14, 2015
Best Answer: Absoluely! Jura machines use a Clearyl Blue or Clearyl White filter, you will just need to check the water tank of your model, as each model is slightly different and even within the model sometimes it will be different. You can tell which one you need, as the water filter holder (what you will attach the water filter to) will be either white or light blue in color, indicating which filter you need!

How loud is the machine when grinding and brewing?
A shopper on Apr 20, 2017
Best Answer: My F8 is pretty loud, but I also think they all are. The grinding part is a little louder than brewing. To compare my F8 to Giga 5 that I use at work, which is a higher end machine priced at $5,000-$6,000 I used a digital noise level meter, which indicated similar noise levels during brewing (~65 dB). Grinding part was slightly noisier on F8 (~79 dB) versus Giga 5 (~73 dB), and you can feel the difference with your ears. Bottom line is, I can deal with a little bit of noise in the morning in order to get a great cup of coffee. I hope this helps.

Can I put ground coffee into it? It seems it goes right through it and it's unpredictable how much gets into the brewer. I usually bu ground coffee and don;t use beans.

A shopper on Dec 14, 2016
Best Answer: Yep! The F8 has a bypass doser located at the top back of the machine, you can put up to 2 tbsp per shot in.
Hope this helps!

how can I get my milk hotter, my cappuccinos are luke warm and I have to drink them immediately after making or they will be cold?
kazagill on Aug 8, 2015
Best Answer: Juries are probably the hottest you can get in a superautomatic. That being said, superautomatic machines typically do not get very hot. It should still be hotter than luke warm though, although many people's version of "luke warm" varies.

The Jura F8 review seems to say that the milk temperature of a cappacino is not hot enough, what other machine does a better job?
Brian M on Jul 18, 2015
Best Answer: Super automatics are known for not producing hot enough milk. Jura is usually the hottest you can get.
