If you own an older version of the Quick Mill Andreja Premium, you may be working with a two-hole steam tip. Why not upgrade that two-hole steam tip to a better-than-ever Four-Hole Microfoam Steam Tip without losing the no-burn qualities of your steam arm.
Standard on all new versions of the Quick Mill Andreja Premium, this new tip has four .9mm holes instead of just two, making it easier to produce silky microfoam.
Not sure which tip you have? The above product photo provides a comparison between the new tip (on the left) and the older version (on the right).
Will this steam tip fit the threads on a Quickmill Anita?

Best Answer:I purchased this steam tip from SCG for my QM Monza and it screws on and works perfectly. I primarily use the steam wand to make Cappuccinos so I need good microfoam. Compared to the two hole QM tip which I also have there are there are several important performance differences. 1) The individual holes are smaller diameter so fine microfoam is easier for me to make which consequently also makes it less worrisome that the milk will overheat from trying too hard. 2) There is less steam volume exiting per hole so there is less splashing and sloshing of the milk. 3) The four holes added together are smaller in total area than those in the two hole tip so it may take very slightly longer for an accomplished user to make the same amount of microfoam. 4) If you predominantly steam milk and rarely use the wand for microfoam then none of this matters much, they will both work very well.
If your steam wand is "no burn" just make sure that the inner plastic tubing is pushed down past the tiny O-ring seal inside the tip before you finish screwing it on, if not the wand will get hot real fast.
