Product Description

Lights, camera, action! The new Saeco one-touch machine packs a punch with its stunning looks, easy-to-use digital display and programmability. At the touch of a button, change the espresso dosage from 5 settings or quickly double-tap for a double shot to get one robust cup of coffee. Customize the brew temperature, pre-infusion and brew time for a knockout espresso shot. With nimble fingers, you’ll look like a coffee superhero without breaking a sweat.

Features & Functionality of the Saeco Intelia Deluxe Cappuccino Espresso Machine

  • One-Touch Functionality: You can get a cappuccino with the push of a single button thanks to the intergraded brew system and milk carafe that froths for you. Quickly get a double shot by pressing the espresso button twice.
  • Bright LCD Display: The upgraded display features a backlit LCD that is easy on the eyes for early risers.
  • Ceramic Grinder: The adjustable ceramic grinders prevent beans from overheating and tasting burnt.
  • Removable Brew Group: Easily remove the brew group to make cleaning a snap.
  • Pre-brewing Technology: Grounds are pre-infused with water before brewing to ensure full-bodied flavor.
  • Programmability: Select from five coffee dosage levels, brew length and temperature for your espresso.
  • Bypass Doser: Add pre-ground coffee through the bypass doser for quick brewing.
Pros
  • One-Touch Functionality - Frothy milk and espresso are instantly made right into your cup for a piping hot cappuccino.
  • Dishwasher-Safe Milk Carafe - The carafe quick clean button rinses the spouts of the milk carafe before storing in the refrigerator between uses. When you’re ready to clean the whole unit, just put the carafe right into the dishwasher
  • Energy Saving with Quick Recovery - Choose a stand-by time for those mornings when you need more than one cup. The quick recovery ensures a speedy warm-up time.
Cons
  • One Foam Fits All - The good news is, you can program the volume of your milk. The bad news is, you can’t program the milk froth or temperature.

  • No Oily Beans - To avoid clogging and potentially damaging the built-in grinder, don’t use oily beans.

How Does it Compare?

The Intelia Deluxe Cappuccino has new programmable features, such as more dosage levels for stronger coffee, but lacks the capability to customize milk options.

Tips and Tricks
  • Milk Volume - Press and hold the "Cappuccino" button to program the milk volume. Once the desired volume is reached, press stop and the machine will remember it for next time.

Can I setup the machine using ground coffee instead of coffee beans? I am pressing the OK button, but the automatic circuit priming cycle doesn't seem to start.
A shopper on Feb 18, 2017
Best Answer: Not sure what you mean by priming cycle not starting, but I've used ground. I found that when the machine is turned on, water runs through and cleans out the ground coffee area so it must be filled with ground coffee after that happens. I do it like this: press middle button to turn on. Wait for water to run through and the machine stays on. Then put 2 measures ground coffee in the round container area on top right & use brush to push grounds down (grounds sometimes stick on sides). Push button on left bottom, Aroma Strength, multiple times until the a picture of a ground coffee measuring spoon appears. That means ground coffee is being used. Then press your choice of espresso, espresso lungo or cappuccino. Always wait to fill ground coffee until after machine is on and water has dropped out from that process. Instruction manual shows how to set default settings for aroma strength (I don't remember how I did that to set at 3 beans) so you should be able to set default for aroma strength as ground coffee.

Is there an on/off switch? When it automatically turns off, the standby button keeps blinking red. Is there a way to stop the blinking without unplugging and losing me settings?
Susan B on Nov 18, 2016
Best Answer: Sorry! The Intelia Deluxe Cappuccino does not have a dedicated on/off switch on the machine. However, unplugging the machine (or plugging it in to a timer or power strip) will not affect your shot programming.

Hope this helps!

Which way to turn the grinder knob for finer ground ciffee?
A shopper on Apr 12, 2016
Best Answer: Instruction book says the smaller dot is stronger so that would be finer grind. On mine that is the right side.
