Product Description

A powerful superautomatic without the hefty price tag? Introducing the Saeco Odea Go, a straightforward, simple to use and affordable espresso machine that's been updated to allow for more choice in beans and grind settings. Saeco's Odea Go Espresso Machine is the ideal option for those who'd like to upgrade to automated shot extraction without breaking the bank.

Features & Functionality of the Saeco Odea Go

  • Adjustable Ceramic Burrs: Burrs will stay sharper longer and the grinder is much more quiet. You can easily adjust to use your favorite type of bean.
  • Simple Interface: Select your shot volume and press the cup button once or twice for single or double shots.
  • Easy Maintenance: Removable brew group requires minimal cleaning.
  • Large Water Tank: Fifty ounce removable reservoir can be set up for the Aqua Prima water filter to minimize scale build up. Convenient side access makes it easy to refill and clean.
  • Easy Froth Wand: Panarello attachment makes frothy milk easy to produce without much skill required. It also dispenses hot water for Americanos or tea.
  • Cup Warmer: Pre-warm up to six espresso cups on the top of the machine.
  • Removable Tray: Easily adjust the tray or remove it completely to accommodate taller cups.
Pros
  • Ceramic Burrs - Updated grinder operates more quietly, staying sharper longer than its steel counterparts.
  • Simple Functionality - Select your shot volume each time you pull your shot and hit the cup bottom once or twice for single or double shots.
  • Easy to Maintain - Removable brew group is simple to maintain: Just pull it out and spray it down once a week.
Cons
  • No Rapid Steam - It takes a little longer to switch between steam and brew because you have to wait for the boiler to change temperatures.
  • No SBS - Unlike the Talea models, this doesn't have the Saeco Brew System (SBS) that allows you to change the pressure for more or less crema.

Can anyone tell me about the cup warmer on the Odea Go? I cannot really find anything specific in everything I have read about it.
A shopper on Aug 4, 2014
Best Answer: Do not base your shopping for an espresso machine on the cup warmer. The cup warmer is nothing more than the top surface of the Odea (or any of the other brands) getting warm while you are brewing coffee. The top doesn't get that warm to warm up a cup. In other words, the cup warmer (again in any of the brands) is useless. That said, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Odea Go Espresso Machine.

Saeco Odea Go Espresso Machine - Certified Refurbished.

I want one, When and how can I order??
Hugh P on Jun 17, 2015
Best Answer: Currently it is out of stock, so you can click the link that says "sign up to get notified when this item is in stock" Then you will receive an e-mail if/when we get more back in. It's hard to say when we will because this machine has been discontinued. Try looking at the XSmall!

Does the Saeco Odea Go Espresso Machine - Certified Refurbished, have the Automatic rinse function like the Vienna Plus model?
Dale N on Apr 12, 2015
Best Answer: Yes. When the correct temperature is reached, the machine performs a rinse cycle of the internal circuits. A small amount of water is dispensed; during this phase, the lights flash counterclockwise. Wait for this cycle to be completed.

Hi, how many cups a day can this machine make a day, without over working it? Thanks
andrea c on Oct 31, 2014
Best Answer: The Saeco Odea Go is a home machine, and so it is only designed for normal at home use, which is generally a maximum of about 5-10 shots a day. If you need a machine for larger groups, then I might suggest checking out the office style machines like the Saeco Royal One Touch, or the Saeco Royal Professional. I have included a few links below:

https://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/saeco-royal-one-touch-cappuccino-superautomatic-certified-refurbished

https://www.seattlecoffeegear.com/saeco-royal-professional-office-espresso-machine-certified-refurbished

These machines are built for larger groups and can brew maybe 15-25 shots a day. Hope this helps!

What is the difference between the Odea Go and the Odea Go Plus?
E. Siegel on Oct 22, 2014
Saeco Odea Go Espresso Machine - Certified Refurbished
Saeco Odea Go Espresso Machine - Certified Refurbished
Saeco Odea Go Plus - Certified Refurbished
Saeco Odea Go Plus - Certified Refurbished
Best Answer: There is not really a difference than the color between the Odea Go and the Odea Go Plus. The units have the same features and programming, but different name plates on the front and different color sides and front. The Plus model also offers a water droplet button on the front of the machine to press for hot water dispensing while the regular version has a dial at the top to turn to steam or hot water and a steam icon on the front of the unit. Otherwise shots are the same!

What is the visual conditions of the refurbished expresso machine, is there obvious blemishes, is it possible to have a photo sent to me prior to purchase? Thanks!
A shopper on Sep 6, 2014
Best Answer: A Refurbished Odea Go machine can have minor scratches, which is part of the reason you are getting a deep discount on a refurbished unit. Unfortunately all of these machines are refurbished and then repackaged, and so we cannot verify the condition of the unit you will get or email photos. If appearance is important, keep in mind that large dents would be repaired or replaced on a refurbished unit, however minor blemishes can be present on these machines. If you are still concerned about the overall look, then a brand new machine may be the best option for you. I hope this helps clarify!

The machine arrived well packed and in perfect condition. After watching the great video's on the web site we were well prepared to operate the machine. We purchased non-oily beans and loaded them up. Presto - fantastic coffee! Could not be happier.
We had formerly been big fans of Nespresso. But it get's a little expensive, and while pretty darn good stuff - this machine makes better. And with a refurbished machine it was easy to cost justify the investment.

If I had to nitpick - I would comment that when the machine refuses to not make coffee due to low water or whatever, the indicator lights do not provide the most obvious indication of the issue to be resolved. Fortunately it's easy to cover them all and get back to brewing.

Recommended. (Posted on 10/2/2014)

I could not be more satisfied with my refurbished Odea Go. The price was phenomenal, it arrived quickly, and it makes great espresso! This is my first espresso machine; I was going to get a semi-automatic + a grinder, but the I realized those two items would have cost more than this refurbished fully-automatic machine. I've had my Odea Go for about 20 days.
Set it up, set the grinder setting to finest, threw in Lavazza Super Crema bean, and prime it, up and running right out of box within 10 minutes.

I haven't had any issue so far. It pulls pretty decent espresso for a super-automatic (can't compare to semi-auto of course).

I trid to find latte art pannarello wand for it without luck, I'm frothing my milk without pannarello wand now.

Pros:
Pulls decent espresso, Fast & easy to use. Easy to clean. Great value for a good condition refurb.

Cons:
Can't see the water reservoir, Can't stop my friends come over to drink coffee. (Posted on 3/25/2014)

Six hours into this machine, which I purchased for my office, the cup support broke off. A quick phone call to SCG had a replacement to me in a few days. Upon opening the box I could see the cup support on the replacement had apparently broken during shipping. Arrgh.

Basically, too much stress on a small plastic part. Its too bad about the cup support because otherwise it's a fine machine and makes a good cuppa joe. We have the much more expensive Saeco Exprelia at home and the Odea's coffee is every bit as good. And without question, the coffee is hotter and the steam wand is much more powerful.

Machine #3 arrived intact. Not waiting for the cup sport to break, I glued a small metal angle onto the cup support. Hopefully this will help it withstand the "rigors" of holding up a cup of coffee. (Posted on 3/13/2014)

The condition of my machine when it arrived.Review by Betsy

When I got my odea go I was very excited. But when I opened the box it was a diffrent story. The first issue I got was when I took the lid of the bean hooper off there was a piece of plastic from the bean hooper lodged in the grinder then the second issue was that the float cracked of the machine. This makes it difficult to make espresso because I have to hold the mug as I would to stream the milk. I'm sure that the packaging had something to do with it. If it were packed more securely it would have arrived in better condition. And lastly, I didn't receive my descaler I was suppose to receive when I ordered the machine. (Posted on 2/7/2014)

First machine came out of the box broken, one phone call and it was shipped back with a new one on the way. I had been without an espresso machine for 3 weeks, OMG, the horror!! Well the replacement arrived and I had it up and running in 20 mins> AHHH!!
This is a very good buy, I like the easy cleaning, and go from making the wife a tea to my espresso without fuss. Only wish the water container was larger.

What a great buy. What great Service and the machine is/was as pristine and a brand new one. I think packaging of refurbished machine could have been a little more secure but that does not take away from the quality of the machine. I would definately recommend Seattle Coffee Gear and this Machine to anyone who asked me.

Pros:
Great Taste, Easy To Clean, Easy To Use

Cons:

Incredible price. Delivered in pristine condition. This refurb looked brand new. The Videos from Gail and Kat helped me make this selection. I originally wanted the Juran Ena but it was too expensive for my budget.

I am so happy with this machine. From what I read, superautos don't like oily beans. Well..I use the lavazza super crema, which are great. I also have a real taste for Starbucks espresso beans. I tried them out. The first few times, the used coffee pucks were not so pucky when ejected. Gave me concern. After a while, the grinder got used to the beans...which are oily, and pucks ejected are like hockey pucks. Thanks for videos!

Pros:
Easy To Use, Quiet, Large Water Container, Quick Brewing, Easy To Clean, Great Taste

Cons:
How could one complain (Posted on 10/22/2011)

This machine makes great tasting espresso. I have had it for about a month now, and cleaning the machine is very easy with the removable brew group. It makes coffee very quickly and heats up very quickly. Even without the rapid steam, I have found that by simply letting out some steam I can go from steaming to brewing in less than a minute.

I use this thing multiple times a day and am very pleased.

Pros:
Easy To Use, Great Taste, Easy To Clean, Quick Brewing

Cons:
