Description About Wonderstate Coffee - Peru San Fernando
The San Fernando Cooperative is located in a deeply remote part of Peru. Nestled in the Andes mountains over 2 kilometers above sea level, this coffee features contributions from producer Julio Arotaypeand as well as producers Ermitanio Gamarra Minaya and Ricardo Chavez Candia. Because of the unique region and elevation of this coffee, the flavor profile is quite distinct. While the roast’s notes of fudge, citrus, and nougat may sound pedestrian at first, the depth and complexity of this coffee can’t be overstated. Delicious no matter how you brew it.

Recommended Brew Methods
We recommend a 16:1 water to coffee ratio for your dosing. Use a scale for best results! For pour over, use a medium-coarse grind size somewhere between drip and press levels. Start with a short pour to wet the grounds and “bloom” the coffee for 30 seconds, followed by two more pours, divided in half to reach the appropriate remaining ratio of water to coffee.
