Popular Seattle-based roaster Zoka Coffee offers two distinct espresso blends to choose from, Espresso Paladino and Organic Espresso Cuatro. The Organic Espresso Cuatro is not an organic version of Paladino, it stands on its own and has a very different flavor profile. Zoka Coffee created an espresso blend of four organic coffees (hence the name!) This delicious blend has citrus fruit flavors contrasted with dark chocolate and floral aromatics. In an Americano drink, the Organic Espresso Cuatro has a light mouthfeel, bittersweet chocolate notes, a hint of crisp lemon zest and an invigorating acidity. The Organic Espresso Cuatro blend stands out in milk and can hold its flavor even when made into the sweetest, most syrupy mochas and lattes around.

  • 12 ounce bag, Premium Whole Beans
  • Roasted Fresh in Seattle
How Does it Compare?

This Zoka Coffee Organic Espresso Cuatro blend has no bitter bite to it and pulls a brighter shot. It is not as smooth as their Espresso Paladino blend.

Can this coffee be used in a super automatic? Is it oily? I'm having a hard time finding espresso roasts that aren't oily. I'd really love to have organic, which is really hard to find.

So far so GREAT!Review by Mikey Gepo
I love this espresso. Ive been sampling different blends on SCG and this is by far the best Ive tried to date and will stick to this blend and brand for now on. Good job ZOKA! (Posted on 10/7/2015)
Good light-medium roast espresso bloendReview by Alexandre
I don't understand why this coffee got some bad reviews. I'm not a big fan of light roasts as well - especially for espresso - but I wouldn't consider this a light roast. It's more like a light-medium... more medium than light. I like it because it's not too acidic like lighter roasts, but it's also not bitter like darker roasts. It's a well-balanced and smooth espresso blend. It's better and, I would argue, darker than their Paladino blend, which gets pretty good reviews. (Posted on 6/11/2015)
BadReview by TOM
This coffee is very light. This is the first time in over 2 years I have made espresso with preroasted coffee beans. I roast my beans to full city or just into the second crack. A good columbian bean will result in an excellent cup most of the time. (Posted on 6/17/2013)
Not very good, even for free (Posted on 6/6/2013)
